A B O U T
Kelli Vitt is a Seattle-based composer and multidisciplinary artist specializing in contemporary classical and cinematic music. She studied Composition & Theory at Western Washington University, where she developed a foundation in orchestration, music theory, and storytelling through music that continues to shape her work today.
Since graduating, Kelli has released her EP Seeing Other People (2021), premiered original works with ensembles including the Nashville Concert Band, and performed with Seattle groups including Formation Wind Band. Her work spans concert music, multimedia projects, and scoring, often combining orchestral writing with electronics, visual art, and narrative-driven concepts.
Kelli’s favorite stories to tell are human ones: the chaos, tenderness, and complexity of being a person. Her musical style has been compared to Zelda soundtracks, a comparison she happily accepts, blending cinematic textures with contemporary classical influences to create music that feels immersive and deeply connected to place and emotion.
Her long-term goal is to compose for film and video games, creating music that feels like it belongs inside a world rather than simply accompanying it.
Outside of composing, Kelli is usually somewhere in the woods looking at ferns, hunting down a great bourbon in Seattle, or painting something that probably got out of hand.
